Frequently Asked Questions
Ive not exercised for a long time and im not flexible, is pilates right for me?
Yes, both our mat pilates and reformer pilates classes are aimed at anyone and everyone. Our classes are carefully planned to suit beginner levels. We all have to start somewhere and pilates is the perfect movement to increase flexibility.
Im unsure of what class to choose, I want to increase my fitness and my strength.
Any of our classes would support you on your fitness journey and increase strength. The best way to find out which class is for you is to take advantage of our intro offers, we offer two reformer pilates classes for £25 and three mat classes for £18. These would enable you to try every class on offer to find out which best suits your needs.
Ive booked my first reformer pilates class, what should I bring?
Firstly, we cant wait to welcome you to the studio and we promise you will love your first class! In terms of what to bring; please wear clothing you feel comfortable to move in, no shoes will be required. We ask you wear grip socks to ensure your safety on the reformer. We do have these available in the studios to purchase before your class. Bring water to keep yourself hydrated and energy levels at a high.
I want to try your yoga classes but worried the heat might be too much for me?
Our infrared heat is designed to heat the body not the room. These are set to 24 degrees and no higher, meaning yes you will feel warm however this will be at a comfortable temperature and is not designed to cause excessive sweating. You can check all the benefits of our infrared heating system under the classes page.
Can I do pilates pregnant?
Yes you most certainly can. All of our pilates instructors are pre-natal and post-partum trained. You can attend any of classes and start at any term in your pregnancy. You can attend the mat pilates classes at any stage of pregnancy and the infrared heat is also safe. We would advise attending the ‘foundation’ reformer pilates if your pregnant and have never done reformer pilates before to learn the fundamentals and ensure your safety.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place for all classes. Any classes cancelled before this window the credit would be refunded to your account to rebook another class. Our memberships are a three-month initial contract and then rolling there after where a 30 days cancellation notice applies.
